Our Story
Our award-winning portfolio spans feature films, documentaries, classes, blogs and podcasts that delve into themes of identity, resilience, and social justice. From exploring the haunting legacies of colonialism through horror to documenting the lived experiences of Chicanas and Chicanos to working directly with Indigenous communities, our work seeks to challenge accepted narratives and inspire change.
Beyond filmmaking, XQL Media is dedicated to community engagement and education. We collaborate with organizations working to create a social impact to produce documentaries that offer interactive workshops, film panels, and classes to spark a broader dialogue on important and contemporary themes affecting Indigenous, chicana/chicano, mexican and latinx communities.
As we continue to navigate the intersections of film, art, technology and culture XQL Media remains steadfast in its mission to illuminate stories that heal, empower, and transform.
